In Ohio the dry furnace air, extreme cold and wind make my skin dry, lifeless, and dull. I looked around for a simple at home remedy that would help to take off all that dry blotchy skin.
This winter, I use a simple cheap dollar bottle of aspirin, a cheap bottle of lemon juice, and some cotton balls to help with my dry skin.
I pour the aspirin in a small bowl then cover them with the lemon juice. When it breaks the aspirin down to a paste I take mix it with a spoon.
My hands and face are so soft and my skin has a new glow. I only do this twice a month. On the opposite weeks I use baking soda and warm water to keep my skin fresh and healthy and I moisturize everyday twice or three times a day. I do like the blend of a little dash of baby oil and regular moisturizer together, they seem to work best for my dry sensitive skin.
**NOTE: If this combination burns, try to use less lemon juice. Do not overuse, and do not use if you have a skin condition such as eczema. Always ask your doctor or Dermatologist.
